I knew when I spotted this antique sterling buckle in a box of treasures, and "not so treasured" that I had found something special! The curve of the buckle makes for a fabulous bracelet!
The buckle frames up pretty vintage text and images and has been sealed over several times for protection.
I've handmade the chain from sterling wire and beautiful garnet beads, then aged the piece, as I wanted to keep the patina feel of the buckle.
The bracelet measures 6 3/4" in length plus another inch, as I've added a chain style extender with a vintage sterling charm at the end.
